There are hundreds of them ranging from small Art Deco perfume lamps to magnificent fixtures, including a Victorian parlor lamp suspended from the ceiling over the dining room table. "Most of the lamps in the house are converted oil lamps," says John Tobin, who has an electrical mechanical background. Since moving into this old house in the Village of Hamburg 25 years ago, the Tobins have collected with passion — and beyond lamps. Each room is furnished with an array of comfortable places for kicking back — from turn-of-the-century wicker pieces on the sun porch to a floral tapestry reading chair and love seat in the family room.
